• Eligibility & Admission: Participation is limited to members or invited guests above the legal drinking age applicable in the state of the event. Government-issued ID may be requested. Seats are allotted on a first-come basis. SMAC India reserves the right of admission and may decline participation at its discretion; if declined after payment, a full refund will be issued.
• Responsible Consumption & Health: By registering, participants acknowledge voluntary consumption, agree to drink responsibly, and accept responsibility for their health conditions, allergies, or sensitivities. SMAC encourages safe travel post-event and does not assume liability for medical or travel issues.
• Event Modifications: Tasting line-ups, number of samples, format, or sequence may change without prior notice due to availability, compliance, or logistics.

Accommodation Policy

• Occupancy Rules: Single occupancy bookings are strictly allocated for one individual. Double occupancy bookings are designated for two individuals traveling as a pair. Solo travelers who opt for double occupancy room sharing will be paired with another SMAC member, maintaining strict gender sensitivity across all assignments.
• Availability & Independent Bookings: Hotel room inventory provided through SMAC is strictly limited and fulfilled on a first-come, first-served basis. Members who choose not to book through SMAC remain fully responsible for arranging their own independent accommodation and transport to designated event pickup points.
• Property Care & Conduct: Guests are expected to adhere to the host hotel's policies and guidelines. Any incidental charges, room damages, or policy violations incurred during the stay are the sole responsibility of the guest.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Clients may cancel their booking by providing written notice to us. Refunds are calculated based on the number of days prior to the scheduled event date that written notice of cancellation is received:

• More than 30 days prior to the event: 80% refund of the total event cost.
• 15 to 30 days prior to the event: 50% refund of the total event cost.
• 0 to 14 days prior to the event: No refund will be provided (0% refund).

📌 Accommodation Refunds: Hotel and accommodation package refunds are strictly subject to the specific cancellation and refund policies of the partner hotel property and may differ from the event pass cancellation terms.

• Notice Requirement: All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing (via email) to be considered valid. The date of receipt of the written notice will serve as the official cancellation date.
• Force Majeure & Event Rescheduling: If the event is cancelled or rescheduled due to government regulations, venue restrictions, illness-based limitations (with proof), or other force-majeure circumstances, SMAC may refund the amount paid or adjust it towards a future date as preferred by the member.
• Code of Conduct: SMAC reserves the right to deny/withdraw access for inappropriate behavior, breach of law, venue policy violation, or disorderly conduct. No refunds will apply in such cases.
• Media Consent: Events may be photographed or recorded for promotional or archival use. Attendance implies consent unless opted-out in writing prior to the event.
• Data Privacy & Compliance: Member information collected during registration is handled securely and may only be shared for compliance, access, or legal requirements. All participation is subject to applicable excise regulations, hospitality policies, and state-specific legal drinking rules.
